DISA and SAIC Partner with Carney to Create Award Winning DoD Information Assurance Awareness Course

Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and SAIC partnered with Carney, Inc. to create the award-winning Department of Defense (DoD) Information Assurance Awareness (IAA) course which was the 2009 Training Exercise Winner in the Federal Information Systems Security Educator’s Association (FISSEA) Security Awareness, Training, and Education Contest.
This interactive scenario-based presentation, which is available to the DoD community of over 5,000,000 users, places learners in an immersive office environment and presents them with events that represent vulnerabilities and threats to government information systems; it also enables them to recognize these vulnerabilities and threats and take appropriate actions to avoid potential losses.
