DoD Solution for Information Security Wins Bronze Brandon Hall Learning Award
Are DoD employees getting effective training on how to secure our nation’s information systems? The answer is “yes” if you ask judges from the annual Brandon Hall Learning Awards program.
For the 2009 competition, the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) won a coveted Brandon Hall bronze award for excellence in learning in the best custom content category for the Department of Defense (DoD) Information Assurance Awareness course.
DISA's win was announced on Thursday, November 19. The winners are listed at www.brandon-hall.com.

SAIC, experts in information security, and Carney, Inc., leaders in innovative learning and performance acceleration, developed the DoD Information Assurance Awareness course for DISA. This highly interactive and engaging course places learners in a series of situation-based activities to allow them to recognize threats to information systems. The course challenges learners to practice various security fixes for protecting computers against those threats both at work and at home.
