DISA Wins Silver Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Award
Alexandria, VA, November 15, 2010 – On November 4
th, the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) won a coveted silver Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Award for “CyberProtect” in the Best Learning Game category, which judges for best immersive learning simulations. “CyberProtect” was judged on instructions, fidelity, immersiveness, engagement, feedback, and overall presentation.

Players acquire IA protection measures, such as firewalls, virus protection, and security policies, and deploy these to their virtual network. Random cyber attacks threaten player networks, and attacks fail or succeed based on how well players execute their IA strategies.
Now in its 16th year, the Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Awards showcases exceptional work in the use of learning technology.
