Augmented Reality
For Training and Performance Support
At Carney, we are exploring ways of using augmented reality, or AR, for training and performance support. The possibilities for supporting performance in the workplace continue to expand with the increasingly widespread availability of smart mobile technology.
With AR, you can overlay a variety of information onto live video feeds. This makes it possible to provide step by step instructions for performing tasks related to whatever your camera is pointing at.
AR also provides a way for superimposing video and three dimensional models into real-world environments, opening up possibilities for simulations and training scenarios.

Augmented Reality is at the center of next generation immersive learning environments
